Baggs Active I-Beam Pickup
This revolutionary bridge plate transducer
easily sticks to the bridge plate on the inside of the guitar and does
not affect the acoustic tone of the guitar in any way. The iBeam is
microphonic enough to hear the rich (but correct) texture of finger
squeak and top tapping, but is resistant to feedback and gives you
excellent amplified sound without a hint of piezo quack. Included
with each iBeam is a placement jig that allows you to install the
pickup in minutes and get the ideal placement for the transducer
inside the guitar. There is even a second passive channel available if
you would like to add a magnetic or undersaddle pickup to compliment
the ibeam.

Radius Violin Pickup
At the heart of the
transducer is a highly flexible beam with a thin film sensor,
similar to mic diaphragm material, attached to its surface. The beam
is held in equilibrium and dampened by another LR Baggs innovation:
opposing Neodymium magnets. The sensor floats between the magnets
and so it is completely free to respond instantly to the smallest
nuance without artifact or coloration. Also, the magnets are tuned
to progressively dampen the sensor and respond naturally to the
dynamics of the instrument. The frequency response is linear, silky
smooth and accurate—with an astonishing natural and effortless
sound. Unlike most soundboard transducers, the Radius is also very
tolerant to placement and works well in a variety of locations. The
output of the device is strong, which allows passive use with a
normal length cord, without a preamp into most acoustic amps. The
tiny lightweight case is conductive ABS material. The Radius
may be mounted to the outside surface of the instrument with a
removable, non-destructive adhesive or putty. The Radius "kit"
includes adhesive pads and putty, 1-1/4" stereo jack and a side
mount Carpenter jack holder to enable external mounting
